Charmed Buddha Mix
This is a beautifully charmed necklace full of meaning and symbolism. On a 9" adjustable chain hangs four powerful charms. The Buddhas' face measures 1" x .6". The circular Om or Aum charm measures .75" in diameter. The Kuan Yin charm measures 1" x .5" at its' maximum length across. The Lotus Eternal Knot measures .75" in diameter.
Like I said the symbolism of these charms are very powerful. The Buddha means “Awakened”. As he fully comprehended the Four Noble Truths and as he arose from the slumbers of ignorance he is called a Buddha. Since he not only comprehends but also expounds the doctrine and enlightens others. He is called a Samma-Sambuddha meaning a Fully Enlightened One. Please click here to learn more about the Buddha.
Quan Yin is known as the Goddess of Mercy and Compassion. The One with a Motherly Compassion, She who Hears the Cries of the People are the Quan Yin's attributes. A great protector and benefactor, her heart is full of deep compassion and unconditional love; her energy is God-like. Because of her commitment to help humans, she is approached with any concerns, troubles or worries. No trouble is too big to be brought to the motherly and all-powerful energy of Quan Yin. The energy Quan Yin expresses is akin to what a mother feels for her child - it is fiercely loving and protective, a much stronger energy than what we usually associate with compassion. As the legend goes, even though Quan Yin attained enlightenment, just as she was about to enter heaven she paused at the doorway and, hearing the cries of the world, decided to return and help humankind find the right path. She took the vow to help humans, thus Quan Yin is known as the female Bodhisattva/Buddha.I found this amyzing (yes, I meant to spell it this way) site that informs you in a beautiful way just who Quan Yin/Kuan Yin is and what she stands for. The Om or Aum meaning; Think of "Om" as the phonetic spelling and "Aum" as the actual spelling. The sound of "Aum", the slow, calming chant many associate with the word, is the sound that was made when all of creation came into existence. The essence of the universe and all creation, wrapped up in one unimaginable and indescribable aggregate (for lack of a better term), is known as Brahman. The "Om" represents the four divine states of Brahman; metta (loving kindness), karuna (compassion), mudita (sympathetic joy), and upekkha (equanimity). Brahman is actually a core belief system in both Hinduism and Buddhism, both of which use Om regularly in their daily life. I encourage you to learn more about this symbol including why the symbol looks as it does.
lotus - Eternal Knot has been a symbol of purity since before the time of the Buddha, and it
blooms profusely in Buddhist art and literature. The intertwining of lines in the eternal knot is said to
symbolize how everything is connected. It can also represent how religion and
secular affairs, as well as compassion and wisdom are united and connected to
each other. Please click here to gain more knowledge about the lotus & Eternal Knot.

· Keep your jewelry stored in a dry room temperature or colder, environment. A jewelry box, a random box, pouch or any container will do. The more humidity you have equals more care.
· When cleaning your jewelry we advise a simple jewelry cloth that you can find at any jewelry store, drugstore or anywhere that sells jewelry. (AR Jewelry will begin to sell them within the next few months).
· If you have a tough piece of jewelry that is heavily tarnished and the cloth won't work we advise you to use a simple cleaner. Nothing expensive or fancy needed. They are typically the same. Use as needed and follow the instructions exactly.
